Is there a time requirement for joining your unit. I am asking about length of time playing ARMA 3 or can a fresh recruit join your ranks ?
-
I've seen applications with >1000 hours, and applications with <10, so I don't believe there's a requirement.
Your Recruit trainer and your OSUT instructor(s) will cover lots of what you need to know, but also don't be afraid to hang out and play some casual games with people.
We're all more than happy to teach you what you need to know.

There is no minimum time played requirement. Our training pipeline will teach you the skills you need to know to be able to successfully contribute to the unit. All that is required is a willingness to learn.

Once your recruit application is accepted, feel free to talk to some members, play some FunOps, get in the Liberation server with people, as well as other stuff. There enough going on almost every day that we can help you get the hang of the game. We won't discriminate against you for not knowing how to do certain things. That is what recruit training and OSUT are for. It is also what your fellow soldiers are for. Good luck, and I hope you decide to join. I look forward to doing some Liberation with you.

Basically to echo what everyone else has already said - I joined the unit literally less than 2 weeks after getting Arma and its been great. Very helpful crew here.
