Title: Another Update (VICTORY!!!!!)
Post by: SSG (Ret) Beard on June 22, 2019, 06:03:05 AM: Well, final trial was last Thursday. On Wednesday 12 Jun, the Police Prosecutor decided after 18 months, that I actually had not assaulted my son and dropped those charges.

So, Thurs the 13th was still going ahead with only the two BS breach of bail charges. One for trying to call my son on 31 Dec 2017 and the other for sending an email to the landlord that included the Ex's email address (which was construed, stupidly, as an attempt to communicate with the Ex).

An email was sent from my lawyer and I that clearly spelled out that they were likely to be unsuccessful in gaining a conviction and therefore were risking the setting of a legal precedent that could be exploited by someone else who IS guilty of breaching bail. This, as we said, is not in the public interest.

Before court, the Prosecutor was sitting with a couple of other officers, one of whom recognized me from one of the many rescues I have been involved in with the sea rescue group. The officer struck up conversation and the Prosecutor suddenly (and obviously) had a moment when the penny finally dropped. 30 Minutes later, the Police prosecutor informed the court that he had decided that the state would no longer pursue the charges.

The Judge was kind enough to award court costs.

As for the Ex, she decided that it was a brilliant idea to send death threats to me, in writing, on Facebook messenger. These were used to take a Restraining Order out on her. Of course, she has already breached this by sending abusive messages about me to my fiancee and parents. She will be arrested for breach of a Violence Restraining Order early next week and faces, if convicted, a maximum sentence of 2 years in jail.

All that is left now is to get some fucking money together to buy a computer that can run ARMA!!!!!!

I will be back soon lads. Just a few more things that need to be done to get custody of my son and I will be back with a vengeance.
