Title: RCT Orwell - Failed AiA downloading

When I'm downloading the full AiA mod (6.5gb) it always fails, and says something like "operated failed" and gives me the option to close, break operation, etc.

I've tried downloading it like 5 times and it keeps doing this.

I'm not sure if your downloading issue has been resolved yet, but these MAY help.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the "old" version of AiA that we have linked in the mod section (2014-10-18) is the last "full" update, while the 2015-01-01 is the 10-18 update, but with the various hotfixes already in the pack.

Someone who knows more about these things than I do will certainly confirm that the above links are the right version, or will confirm that they are not. If you haven't already, I'd get in touch with your recruit instructor via forum PM, as they're likely to have more knowledge about these things than I.

Also make sure you have enough room on your drive to install it. That happened to me a couple times then I realized that I didn't have enough room and once I cleared it up i didn't have a problem.

yeah I have 650 gb free on my drive..

Ugh I've downloaded it again and it fails saying "file type is corrupted or unknown''

It was recommended not to use arma sync but I will try it and see if it works.

EDIT: Arma3sync seems to do the trick for me. ^_^

I just hope that the AiA terrain pack on it contains the patch/hotfix..

If the file corrupts when your downloading it, that's usually cause it stops the download and skips a file or two. Used to happen to me all the time with verizon when it came to big files. AiA terrain pack in the repository system contain the patch and the hotfix, so you should be good there :)

I had a similar problem I used a different browser and it worked.
