Title: Arma 3 not opening

So during last nights op my TFAR was working but then it started to screw with me and i could no longer tab up on the radio(caps lock) then some more TFAR stuff happened so i had to restart my computer.  When I tried to open arma it just wouldn't open.  I can see it running in my task manager but nothing happens.

Im not very tech savvy, but it sounds like the ARMA exe launches but then neglects to actually start the game. A complete reinstall might be in order.

Have you done both a computer restart, and verifying the cache (if you're running it through Steam)?

This may sound over simplistic...but is Steam running?  If Steam isn't running in the background my Arma won't open.

Have you tried to launch arma in a vanilla state? (Sans mods)

i've had similar issues. when it happened to me if i ran task manager my arma was in the "background process" and not in the "apps" section where it should be.  i did THIS (http://www.506thir.net/forums/index.php?topic=2870.0) and it fixed it.  hope you get it worked out.  arma being arma can be a frustrating thing...

If you are running Arma.exe as an administrator, turn that off.

If it is not, start running it as an administrator.

I imagine this has been fixed by now right?  We couldn't do without your mad medic skill for this long!

yea some days it works some days it doesn't so i don't know.
