So I'm switching from an AMD Build to and Intel Build. And I really don't wanna lose all of my data on my HDD and SSD. Is there a way to prevent this by not fresh installing windows, or is that my only option?
Windows is on my SSD, fun stuff like games is on my HDD.
Any information would be awesome, Thanks!
Also im getting an new GPU and CPU

Yes, I just had to do this recently. I wish I could remember exactly what it was but you just have to change something in the BIOS when you boot it up with the new hardware in. Let me try to find the specifics for you and I'll update my post, just know that it is possible and easy to do.

It's possible but it's not recommended. It's always best to reinstall the OS.

If you're getting an ASUS motherboard, all you have to do is install the new drivers. Nothing else, good to go. But as everyone else is saying, clean restarts are better.

Clean install.
You can try this method if you don't want to.
