[DENIED] Richardson Application
« on: March 28, 2016, 11:53:33 AM »
First Name: Austin
Last Name: Richardson
Age: 16(please see the unit requirements section below for more info)
Desired Duty Assignment: 11B Infantry

ArmA III Player ID: (pending due to modification, currently on vacation.)

How long have you been playing ArmA III?: I have been playing ARMA III since June of 2014.
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: I am not currently a member of an ARMA gaming unit or clan.
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: I am looking for a realistic, and friendly ARMA III MILSIM community, and after watching many of your operations on youtube I decided to join the 506th.

If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: Does not apply.

Please check your user profile and ensure that the email address you registered with is correct. Have you done this?: I have done this.

Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 506th realism unit, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: I understand the definition of realism as per 506th realism unit standards. I accept these accords, desire this experience and am willing to abide by all rules of the 506th.

Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: I have read and understand the requirements to join the 506th MILSIM, and accept that failure to complete such cruteria will warrant my placement in a reserve platoon. I know that the minimum age requirement for this unit is 18.  I hope that you have it in your hearts to make an exception.  I am hardworking, mature and more than qualified in all other aspects.  Having grown up as a dependent of two USAF Master Sergeant (E-7)'s I am disciplined.  Sir or Ma'am are included in every sentence that leaves my mouth.  I have also been in JROTC for 2 years(roaches) and I follow orders with respect and dignity.  I have a setup that can record videos of operations in 1080p, and I would like to make videos of our operations should I be accepted.  I never half-ass anything and I always take pride in my work when completing even the most trivial tasks.  I am absolutely confident that I will be a great addition to the 506th and will bring more than I detract. I can carry my weight and I am more than enthusiastic abiut being a part of the 506th team in the future.  Please understand this situation and lastly I thank you for your time and consideration.

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations are dependent on your choice of Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT) or Saturdays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: I understand the timezone and attendence requirements of the 506th and I am fully willing to comply with these standards.

Mr. Richardson,

We appreciate your application to the 506th Infantry Regiment but, as our application message states, we have an age requirement here so we are unable to approve your application. You are welcome to re-apply when you meet our current age requirement. Thank you for your interest.

Respectfully Submitted,
2LT Marsden

Well, that is dissapointing, but expected.  However, sans age requirement breaches; would this have been an acceptable application?
