Multiple Versions of ARMA 3 simultaneously
« on: June 24, 2016, 11:54:52 AM »
I have been wondering and can't find any source that shows you can or can't have 2 arma files on your computer at the same time. I would like to know if anyone has had luck keeping an up to date ARMA and then a Legacy version at the same time. I know it isn't that big of a deal to "update" back and fourth but it is time consuming, and when I want to play that 20 minute update is no fun.

Thank you for any help,

I run multiple versions. Just rename your current Arma folder and download a new version. Be sure to validate files and copy over your 'User Config' folder. I currently have version 1.58 (official) [Arma 3 1.58]; 1.62 Dev Branch [Arma 3]; and 1.63 Apex Sneak peak [Arma 3 APEX]

You can use Arma3Tools too I think.  Not sure.  You would have to ask PV2 Ledere
