I am having connection issues with a few programs and i was wondering that if I were to reset my computer back to factory settings and clear everything would that help, because its coming to that time where i might have to anyway?

it would definitely help, the question is if it would be the easiest or best thing to do.

Im not sure, either. I just thought of it being an idea because steam and teamspeak have not been able to connect to the internet when i can surf the internet and use skype. Do you have any suggestions?

Personally, I do a clean re-install of windows at least once or twice a year. The important thing to do is to back up all your personal documents, photo's, anything that you wouldn't want to lose. Then back up any programs/games that you don't want to have to re-download all over again.

On newer versions of Windows, it's a lot easier to perform a Windows re-install than it was on previous versions. It generally solves a lot of issues and might be an option for you.

call your ISP. maybe they're blocking certain programs or something.
