Laser/Light not working

Hi

I'm having trouble with the weapon mounted light and laser. I can switch between what is active, but when I hit "L", nothing happens.

I do occasionally get this error: "[]:'bin\config.bin/CfgPatches/tiad_506th_Light_Laser_switch/' not an array"

Any ideas?

Though I haven't figured this out yet, I have additional info.

I've gone into the editor and adjusted time to night. My light works, and when I turn on the laser, I can see it with nightvision on.

I was under the impression that you could use the laser for CQB during daytime hours. What am I missing?

It's a separate laser module. The laser/light combo only includes IR lasers, and the daytime laser doesn't have a flashlight or an IR mode. Personally, I use the laser light combo exclusively, as your RMR/Reflex sights are better for CQB anyhow. Besides, the daytime laser is weird graphically sometimes, but it's all down to a matter of personal opinion.

Incorrect. The day visible laser is a nighttime IR laser and day visible laser. It's on IR by default and you have to ctrl+l to switch to the red laser.

Do you use a laser/light combo that has this capability? I've only been able to find one attachment that does this, the "Laser Pointer (Red)" (probably the green does too), but it does not have a light.

The last item under "Rail Attachments" for most rifles is "Laser Pointer (red)" and can be toggled between IR and red dot laser.
