Havoc 4 wants YOU to join their ranks and take part in a challenging, demanding, and high-impact role within the Task Force structure of the 506th.
As a member of Havoc 4, you’ll help employ one of the deadliest man-portable, crew served weapons into the field of combat: the 60mm M224 LightWeight Company Mortar System (LWCMS). The M224 LWCMS is a smooth bore, high-angle-of-fire weapon that fires 60mm High Explosive shells capable of destroying infantry, light armor, materials and structures. In other words:High Angle Hell, Death and Destruction from AboveA member of Havoc 4 has the MOS of 11C. As an 11C, you’ll learn the ins and outs of employing our weapon system, as well as hold the same duties and responsibilities as an 11B that you’ll learn through OSUT. Not only are you relied upon to support the main infantry platoon’s maneuvers and fires, but you’ll be tasked with missions that often include search and rescue, support by fire, security for command leadership, and other infantry tasks.
Joining is simple! Upon graduating from OSUT, you’ll be asked what MOS you’re interested in – just say you want to be 11C and you’re on your way to a challenging and fulfilling role within the 506th.
