64bit or 32bit?
« on: July 10, 2018, 09:26:05 AM »
So it seems ARMA 3 64bit has the sound bug still, atleast on my machine. I have to run it in 32bit for the bug to not rear its **NOISY** head. So the question is if I run ARMA 3 in 32bit mode do I have to run TS client 32bit along with TFAR 32bit?

Have you changed the playback sound to your headset or speakers? Check your Audio Manager first?

I vaguely remember this part. I think changing to a lower quality was what we were suppose do. What about the other two options

Allow application to take exclusive control of this device
Give exclusive mode applications priority

Those are both checked. I lowered the Quality to DVD, let me see if that helps thanks.

Lowering will cause issues with in game sounds. I would restore everything to default and see if the Input and Output are checked correctly.
Or re-installing your audio driver can help with this issue. Also make sure that you didn't accidently checked the 'no sound' checkbox in your Arma 3 Launcher Parameter section.
Or you can try to see if the issue still persists when you run Arma 3 as Administrator.

The latest updates of Windows 10 can mess badly with any drivers or settings.
