TFAR/TS suddenly causing FPS problems

After the latest round of modpack updates I've started experiencing unusual frame drops in ARMA.  Standing without moving my FPS jump from between 130 and the high 50s for no apparent reason (maybe this is normal, I haven't paid much attention to FPS since I got my latest rig since it's always been fine).

I've read through 8 pages of results from searching "FPS" here and can't find any suggestions that seem applicable. I've got the latest drivers for my graphics card and I verified the ARMA files.  Suggestions welcome.

EDIT to add:  It seems to be related to Teamspeak - with no TS running my FPS is fine, as soon as I activate it, FPS starts bouncing all over the place.

I've deleted and reinstalled TS and TFAR - no joy.

EDIT: In TS Addons I have task_force_radio_pipe throwing an error "Plugin failed to load: Failed to open plugin.: 0 (minimum: 21, current: 22)" in red.  Reinstalling didn't fix.

I'm not sure what this is, but just a thought - are you running Teamspeak as Admin?

I just tried that and it made no difference, still getting the pipe error.

I did a full wipe of TS including the Configuration (bookmarks etc.) and that seems to have fixed the pipe error and the FPS issue.

Reopening this thread as my issue is not resolved.

My sudden FPS issues are clearly related to the newest version of TFAR or Teamspeak. 

With TFAR/TS active my FPS bounce from 90 down to the 50s and back up on an empty server. 

After logging out of TS my FPS hold steady at 89-90.

I've redownloaded and reinstalled both TFAR and TS, still a problem. 

Any suggestions welcome.

Bumping this because I'm still trying to iron out this FPS problem that's undoubtedly being caused by the latest version of Teamspeak.

I'm losing up to 20 FPS with Teamspeak activated and have no idea why or even how that's possible.

I'm open to any suggestions - if posting my TS Client Log can help shed any light on this issue I will do that on request.

That is weird, and you had a lot of stuttering. I am going to do an experiment as well and see what I get as well.

Google is your best friend since there are a lot of possible fixes given. You are not the only one out there.

O trust me I've been scouring the internet for weeks trying to figure this out - most of the stuff Google returns is from years ago and so far I haven't found anything that helps me.

The weird part is I never had this issue before the latest TS update, so something must have changed that's creating a conflict with my system.

Yeah it is really a weird issue you are having.. I know with some games it does the same. However there are working fixes for it. Guess you are stuck in a grey area. Can u prioritize arma in your task manager? Maybe that fixes the issue while running arma and TS at the same time?
