Cannot connect to Liberation server deleted file error
« on: October 14, 2018, 05:12:19 PM »
When I connect to the server I get the following message
" You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.JS_JC_FA18 "

I have every dlc except tanks, jets, tac ops, and laws of war, I have uninstalled and properly reinstalled all my mods and the message persist unchanging. Previously before the map update I was able to connect without issues. If someone knows what I need to do to fix this please do inform me.

Another note, is there something special I must do to the liberation file to install it? Currently I just have it click dragged into arma with the rest of my mods, do I need to do something special with that file or did I do that bit properly?

Have you verified your game cache?

This is definitely a mod issue, most likely with the Liberation pack itself since Vanilla Arma and the 506th Modpack don't include F/A-18s. I'd try deleting and re-installing the Liberation mod pack and make sure nothing is deleted by malware protection or simply lost when you unzip the file.

Cache is verified, it seems it is indeed the liberation modpack due to one key detail "When you unzip it". I am  individual who uses standard zip files always have so my foolish self didn't realize it was a 7z file requiring a special program to unzip it. So the problem seems to of been me trying to stuff a still zipped file into arma. After downloading the appropriate program to unzip it all is well.
