Key Binding in TFAR
« on: February 14, 2015, 10:05:17 AM »
So basically, I want to bind my transmission keys to my mouse button 4 & 5 on the side of my mouse, for ease of use and quicker reaction. But for some odd and annoying reason, when I attempt to bind them, it flat out refuses to acknowledge those buttons exist. Now this is either a problem (feature) of ArmA or the mod; I suspect it's the mod because ArmA does recognise them. Is there anyway to allow TFAR to use these buttons or am I screwed in having to use Caps Lock and T?

Any and all help is appreciated.

I have tried many times to bind TFAR keys to my mouse, and failed. Arma does recognize them so it must be a TFAR thing as I use my mouse buttons to open doors and shit. I did rebind my radio button to space bar though =D

I use GlovePIE to remap my button box and mouse to keystrokes. So any keymapper can be used.

That's some awesome tech, I've managed to figure it out so thank you Potvin :)
