[ACCEPTED] Carr Application
« on: August 15, 2015, 05:56:35 PM »
First Name: Brandon
Last Name: Carr
Age: 28
Desired Duty Assignment: 11B Infantry

ArmA III Player ID: 76561198023043206

How long have you been playing ArmA III?: New to "high end PC gaming"' old computer barely handled CS:GO. Ordered a $1700 PC build that I should get this week
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: No
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: This is the style of play I've always wanted from a game. After watching an embarrassing number of YouTube videos on this game I've come to the conclusion that I want to learn from this group of individuals from the get go and not develop any bad habits.

If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: Yes, I chose 11B with the hopes of transferring to 153A down the road. Infantryman first!

Please check your user profile and ensure that the email address you registered with is correct. Have you done this?: It's correct

Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 506th realism unit, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: It's the main reason I want to join this unit

Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: Yes and I've spoken with SSG George about this via private message before I applied. Will have schedule issues due to my modified schedule working 10 shifts a month (24 hour shifts)

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations are dependent on your choice of Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT) or Saturdays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: I'm on West Coast time but won't be a big deal, just means I don't have to stay up as late as the rest of you.

Mr. Carr,

Before we can process this application, it is required to provide a valid ARMA 3 Player ID. To find out how, check this link:
http://www.506thir.net/forums/index.php?topic=19.0

Once you have found your player ID, please update your application to reflect the changes and we will process this application as soon as possible.

Just wanted to let you know I'm waiting on my PC build to get here Wednesday or Thursday and then I'll buy the game and give my ID. Like I said I'm brand new to high end PC gaming and I'm starting off in a good way ($1900). Just did not want to leave the wrong impression by how long this is taking.

Best regards,

B. Carr
