[ACCEPTED] Absher Application
« on: July 04, 2016, 02:00:43 AM »
First Name: Mike
Last Name: Absher
Age: 25
Desired Duty Assignment: 11B Infantry

ArmA III Player ID: 76561197979634651

How long have you been playing ArmA III?: Since Pre-alpha, I was a crowdfund supporter and played ARMA II with ACE and other mods a lot
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: Not currently, I was in 7th Cav for a brief while in ARMA II, but left.
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: I'm looking to enjoy OP's, enjoy working as a tactical unit, and looking for a group that not only mil-sims, but uses mods that enhance the game to be more flavorful to my taste, which is present day era combat.

If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: I would gladly fulfill any needed role from fighter pilot to Infantryman, I just applied for infantry because I feel that I will enjoy it without much stress.

Do you understand that as of 30SEP2016, you will be required to own Arma 3 Apex DLC in order to actively participate in the unit?: I honestly don't know what this is, but I have every DLC for ARMA III currently and would have no issue with this.

Please check your user profile and ensure that the email address you registered with is correct. Have you done this?: yes.

Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 506th realism unit, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: Immersion is the primary reason of me joining, learning is 2nd, and having fun while doing both. I use PTT even though I am in a quiet room because sometimes I talk to myself or have spectators.

Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: I will have no issues attending on weekends.

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations are dependent on your choice of Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT) or Saturdays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: I am also GMT -500. THis will not be an issue.
