After the 1.64 update, I was having issues with framerate and crashing to desktop while loading into ARMA 3 and while loading into servers. I did some hunting around and came across
this thread on the Bohemia forums, specifically the v4 Performance Binaries. The files in the download replace your arma3.exe and add/replace a memory allocator.
Switching to these binaries has increased my framerate, which was abysmally low after 1.64 during MOUT, and has also solved the crashes. The installation is simple. Replace your arma3.exe and memory allocator, save the old files on your desktop in case it doesn't work. Hope this will help others out.
