Memory leak problem?
« on: March 12, 2017, 06:45:56 AM »
I have recently began getting a problem with ARMA that never happened before. I am wondering if anyone has also had it and if there is a solution.

Several times now, twice during last night's OP and also last week in practice I will get a windows message saying my PC is running out of memory. According to my system monitor, I am only using 8gig out of 16gig at the time though. Then a few minutes later, ARMA will crash. Like I said, this just started happening and I have not changed anything. This happened to me not only on Clafgan but also Altis.

I have saved the error log file and will put a ticket with BI but hoping someone here knows an easy fix. Cheers.

Did you delete your .DLL files in your ARMA 3 DLL folder?

LT,

I haven't touched anything but I will double check. Worst case I will re-install the whole thing to be sure I guess.

Think that "verify integrity" thing in steam would let me know if that's the problem?

Nope, most likely just because your ARMA is having issues with its memory DLL.

Just go in your ARMA 3 folder -> DLL folder -> delete everything in it but keep the dll folder.
