RE: Former RPLA leaders from Operation Red Hammer are secretly leading MOSN; EOD Report from TFC
The following intelligence report is classified and should only be distributed to authorized personnel.
Captured detainee at Aegerifeld:Detainee #85201B
Name: Lieutenant Dimitry Zolotov Pavlovich
Duty Position: MOSN Intelligence Officer, Recruiter, RPLA Liaison
Known Associates:
1) HVT #6325T, General Gleb Zakharovich
a) Red Guard Commander, Extremist sub-unit of the Russian Peoples Liberation Army (RPLA), last seen during Operation Red Hammer.
2) HVT #5891M, Field Marshal Zhutov Olegovich
b) Commanding Officer of the RPLA, last known location: International Hotel Chernogorsk during Operation Red Hammer.
Detainee #85201B was captured during the TFB’s assault at Aegerifeld and the nearby radio communications tower on 22 OCT 2017 when he was found hiding under two dead MOSN fighters near an out building within the town. The Detainee was captured without incident and found to be wounded in the left inside thigh, right forearm near the elbow, and shrapnel in his head and upper shoulder area. Medical attention was provided on-site and enroute to the MASH prior to arriving to this facility.
Interrogation of Detainee revealed his association with HVTs #6325T and #5891M during combat operations in 2015 against the 506th during Operation Red Hammer. The RPLA was reported as being eliminated at the conclusion of Operation Red Hammer with it’s leader and Red Guard Commander reported KIA during the last days of that operation. However, Detainee confirms General Zakharovich and Field Marshal Olegovich are alive and operationally controlling MOSN forces throughout Napf. Multi-sourced Intelligence indicates this claim is most likely true. In-country CIA assets confirm they tracked Zakharovich moving towards this region, and have backed up this intelligence.
Olegovich identified the “people’s rebellion” of as they stood up against the brutal oppression of the PRNA, and chose them as an RPLA proxy due to their limited leadership and disorganized operations. A Napf native, the Detainee indicated General Zakharovich recruited him to help transition the rebellion into what is now known as “MOSN;” to provide operational and intelligence support to MOSN through RPLA contacts; improve recruiting and training requirements; and ensure the rebellion are armed with RPLA weapons and leadership. Olegovich eventually became the senior leader of MOSN early in the Napf civil war to fulfill his ambition to assume power within Napf and regain his previous level of military superiority. Olegovich quickly replaced the core MOSN leadership with seasoned RPLA leaders who eventually began full offensive operations against the PRNA and eventually against ESLA and ESAF forces.
Detainee revealed RPLA’s leadership within MOSN has infected the rebellion with the RPLA’s brutal tactics with it's disregard for civilian casualties or their infrastructure. With the increased brutality of RPLA troops across Napf (including mass executions like that seen in Bruderholz), Detainee says he conducted an inquiry on Olegovich and Zakharovich and the RPLA’s history and he knew that he had to find a way out of MOSN. He stated that he had believed in the original goal of the rebellion, but the nature of the former RPLA leader's conduct in the war was not something he wished to remain a part of.
Detainee claims he intended to surrender to the 506th or ESAF forces in the coming days but the attack against the city of Aegerifeld caught them somewhat off-guard and he was injured when a large piece of ordnance (likely a GBU) was dropped on the facilities at Aegerifeld.
Short summary of Operation Red Hammer:The Russian Peoples Liberation Army (RPLA) were a Russian Separatist movement that were active in the country of Chernarus. In late 2014, they invaded the nation of Podagorsk, a small peninsula region bordering Chernarus. Sweeping into the country from the north, the RPLA encountered little resistance and managed to occupy a majority of the peninsula with relative ease. Following a brutal assault on the nation’s capital, the infamous Red Guard company raided the Prime Minister Ildus Azat’s residence and took him, his cabinet, and his bodyguard hostage. These individuals were found executed several weeks later.
The Red Guard, a covert, right wing, sub-unit within the RPLA, was designated as a terrorist organisation in 2013, following their systematic massacre of 183 villagers in Petrovka. With their leadership consisting of former Spetznaz and Special Forces operatives, they initially operated as a guard unit for high ranking RPLA officers. In a similar fashion to the WW2 German SS, they grew in prominence throughout the conflict into a hard-line, ultra violent major paramilitary group, who regularly committed war crimes and their symbology was used as a major propaganda tool and scare tactic.
Following the mobilization of the Black Sea Assistance Force (BSAF), consisting of American, British and French militaries, international forces launched Operation Red Anvil, an effort aimed at pushing the RPLA out of Podagorsk.
Whilst ultimately successful, Operation Red Anvil resulted in one of the bloodiest conflicts seen in the region since WW2. During the latter part of the conflict, as the RPLA was losing the last of its ground in the north, the Red Guard employed a Scorched Earth policy, vowing to destroy and burn any ground that was lost. Cities were sacked for supplies. Men, women and children were massacred by the thousands. Villages and towns were almost completely leveled.
The RPLA was eventually driven out and moved their operations back to Chernarus. Several months later, BSAF was once again mobilized to take the fight to the RPLA in Chernarus in Operation Red Hammer, with the objective of eliminating the RPLA and the Red Guard, and capturing 12x 506th troopers being kept as prisoners of war by the Red Guard during the Podagorsk deployment.
The deployment closed with the major offensive operation to capture the capital, Chernogorsk. The Red Guard held the city like a fortress, and as the last bastion within Chernarus, they defended it to the last man. At the ultimatum of the battle the city’s tallest building, the International Hotel, suffered severe structural damage and collapsed. The entire district was covered in a blanket of rubble, and hundreds of civilians were killed.
The RPLA and the Red Guard were broken. The leader of the RPLA, Zhutov Olegovich was presumed KIA in the collapse of the hotel, and Red Guard Commander Gleb Zakharovich was never eliminated and remained theoretically at large.

All 4 launchers were equipped with 1x ICBM. Following an investigation, none of the warheads were nuclear and instead had a 900Kg HE payload.
2 of the 4 TEL's where prepped for launch, although no Command Post Vehicle was present. The TEL’s had pre-programmed coordinates loaded onto them. Only 1 of the missiles was opened and it had the coordinates of AIRBASE MINNESOTA programmed. The payload would have caused considerable damage to the airbase and rendered the airstrip inoperable for some time.
Due to the Command Post Vehicle being missing, none of the missiles would have been able to fire and travel to their designated targets; along with this no radar station was present in the AO suggesting that the missiles were in storage and there were no plans to launch one. The Command Post Vehicle and Radar station are more sophisticated than the launchers themselves, it may be suggested that they are in short supply and are residing in PRNA and MOSN headquarters. Due to the previous launch, we know that the other components are present on the island.
At this time, it has not been confirmed that the warheads are the same ones moved from Hindelbank Weapon Cache, any form of identification codes on the systems cannot be tracked and resolved by US forces, it is however suggested that the launchers where not manufactured on the island due to nomenclature that matches other launching systems that reside in North-Korea. However due to the lack of warheads systems discovered we are able to assume that they are the same warheads that were moved from Hindelbank Weapon Cache.
The ICBM’s recovered have the capability to carry a nuclear, HE and chemical warheads. Refitting the warhead would have to be done in a secure military area with expert guidance. Upon investigation, no known MOSN or PRNA experts that match the criteria were in the AO.
