Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: When I first joined the 506th I was a complete ARMA noob. I jumped on the first 'realistic' unit I could find because I thought that was what I wanted to be in playing a game of this type. When I realized that you guys were 'out of my league' per-say, I quit and started playing on a lot of servers. It was the lingo, the ranking, and having not had any personal military service or ARMA experience, I was overwhelmed. I always figured you were all too elite for me. On top of that, I have a tendency to get bored with games, and didn't want to devote myself to something I wouldn't keep up with. I either get tired of games or they get tired of me, but surprisingly, ARMA has been different. I've been hooked. I play it nearly every night, and I have been regretting ever since leaving the group I should have started with at the beginning. There is something about Teamwork that I have never found in games before on this one. I would never profess to be a great player, but I have a passion for it. Public coop missions are a 'shitshow' but the one glimmer of hope is that on average one op a week that just feels right. And it's this glimmer that leaves me wanting more. After leaving 506th I started watching your videos online and started realizing that 'Hey... This is what I love about ARMA. These are the missions that I wish I could have every night!
