Good afternoon gentleman (and ladies if applicable)
First of all, I would like to voice support for what you are doing. I've been a long time subscriber of Capt Drumheller on Youtube and while I do not understand the finer details of why you all decided to start a fresh I have the utmost respect for giving it a try. As someone who has helped build a community from scratch over the last year I know how challenging it is and wish you all the best of luck regardless of the outcome of the following.
So why am I here? Well first and foremost you guys are most likely still sorting things out so no hurry to get back to me regarding this, but we are after joint coop's at some point in the future when you guys feel you are ready for such opportunities.
I represent a small highly specialist Arma 3 realism unit. I'll be honest right now and say we are not based on any real world military organisation or unit and our communities "lore" is total fiction. So if its a deal breaker, well we won't take offence you won't be the first or the last. We are called 4th Section Operators (4Sec for short). To really explain to you who we are I need to tell you how we started out and why we have done what we have done over the past year. Hopefully this will tell you if we meet the standards you would want from other communities to be affiliated with them in any way shape or form. We already know your standards and reading the information you provided on your website you expect them to be very high.
We started off back end of 2013 with 8 of us deciding that we wanted to build a respectable, professional and most of all fun community with the most realistic gameplay we could possibly provide. Our growth has been intentionally slow and we have only recently put ourselves out in the public realm for people to join. Why? We set ourselves some very high standards and wanted to make sure that anyone we did let in would uphold them. Also we don't want the politics, and general BS that occurs with bigger communities to become detrimental to what we are trying to accomplish. Which lets face it right, is an environment of fun, friendship, with a dash of role play thrown in for good measure.
We work in small 5-6 man teams with a very special forces orientated approach to our missions. We love sitting on hills staring at objectives trying to figure out how to cause as much damage as possible with the least amount of effort. We also like to just be sneaky and gather intel for a more heavily kitted out force to take advantage of.
We are European based so the difference in time zones undoubtedly would give us problems but it's something we would try and work around to suite both sides.
I am concious that this may inadvertently sound like a recruiting post which I apologise for in advance. Feel free to edit the post as you see fit if that's the case. Alot of the 506th have been people myself and my guys have watched since Capt Drumheller started his Youtube channel. For us to be able to say "We did a mission with those guys" would be a great honour and to be honest - bragging rights!
I'm available on Steam (tubby21288) if you need to get in touch for any more information. I'll also check back here in a week or so. If you want to have a chat over teamspeak our info is available on the front page of our website (
