Supporting Units SITREP

(TS) Map of current US Forces in Chernarus

(TS) S-2 Operations Command has requested a brief SITREP from the Commanding Officer of each of the units operating within Chernarus. Those SITREPs are below.

(TS) Co B\1-506 IR: Bravo Company continues to ensure secure flanks of the main assault, with recent operations concentrating on consolidating a defensive position around Ravensworth Airbase and restricting movement out of COP Greystoke. With 2nd Platoon set in their blocking position north of Greystoke, 1st Platoon continue to conduct patrols in the woods to the west. 1st and 2nd Platoons are prepared to support Alpha Company task forces in their assault of COP Greystoke. 3rd Platoon has been conducting show of force patrols throughout the small villages east of Ravensworth in an attempt to suppress NSLA influence in the area and the associated MANPAD threat to Ravensworth operations.

(TS) Co C\1-506 IR: Charlie Company continues to provide security for 326 BSB, 32 FAR, and 1 BCT HQ as 326 BSB near the completion of their construction works. Little contact has been made in the area, however the MSR is frequented by civilians as one of the main export routes from Chernarus. Relations between Charlie Company and civilians have remained calm with no cause for alarm.

(TS) 326 BSB: Construction on this COP has proceeded according to plan, with final construction works being commenced this week before the position can be fully handed over to 32 FAR and 1 BCT HQ to become operational. It should be noted that general construction supplies from suppliers in the north are becoming harder to source of late, any further major installations are likely to be delayed in construction until supply lines can be rectified, or supplies are able to be shipped/flown in by other units.

(TS) 426 BSB: **** NO SITREP RECEIVED BY S-2 - MORE TO FOLLOW ****

(TS) 32 FAR: 32 FAR arrived in Cherarus this week in anticipation of 326th's works being completed. Wind down in Anizay was completed without further incident. A second flight will shortly supply the 32nd with our guns, which should be timed correctly with the 326th as well as completion of secure round storage facilities. It's expected that the 32nd will be fully operational in the near future.

(TS) 32 CAV: 1st Platoon units have completed transitional works and are now fully established in defensive overwatch over COP Stirling. 2nd Platoon units remain on station at Ravensworth. 3rd Platoon units remain stationed with 1BCT HQ for QRF as required. No major change from the 32nd this phase.

(TS) 1 BCT HQ: BCT HQ is preparing to establish once construction works are completed. S-2 and S-3 commands will co-locate with the S-4 HQ position already established by 326 BSB. Any intelligence requiring S-2 assessment will then need to be transported directly to BCT HQ. Operational information will continue to flow from S-3 in the normal channels. No other change to operations is anticipated.
