Dateline - February 18, 2015 IGT - Bolshevik, Podagorsk

The International Times can exclusively report that the missing French Fighter Pilot, Capitaine Jacques Pierre, who was shot down on the 9th February has fallen into RPLA hands. Since his state of the art Rafale was shot out of the sky, the French Air Force, in conjunction with US Forces on the ground, have attempted to locate and rescue the missing pilot, however this has came to no avail. Failures in locating and rescuing the pilot have resulted in his capture, and now the downed airman is in the custody of RPLA forces.

The French Air Force, was stunned at the loss of their aircraft over enemy territory, and at first refused to believe that the multi-role fighter jet was lost. However, hours later, the FAF were forced to concede that their fighter jet was lost. Amidst the loss of the aircraft, there is rumours that the Rafale's anti-missile capabilities malfunctioned and thus the aircraft was subsequently shot down from a land based missile. Others speculate that the RPLA is much heavier armed than initially thought. Whatever the circumstances of the shooting down of Capitaine Jacques Pierre are, one thing is certain, the RPLA should not be underestimated and the situation in Podagorsk is becoming ever more serious.

For Capitaine Pierre, the situation is bleak and the future is unclear. The RPLA has strong links with the infamous Red Guard, and no doubt, his capture, will certainly interest them greatly. Already unconfirmed reports have stated that he has been transferred to the Red Guard, although, at this time, the International Times cannot confirm this.

The International Red Cross has stated that any abuses against Capitaine Pierre will be taken very seriously. This comes weeks after reported atrocities committed by the Red Guard in their capture of the Southern edges of Podagorsk. It seems that the international community is already concerned about the pilots well being, we can only hope that Capitaine Pierre is released alive and well as soon as possible.

That holding facility looks temporary to me. Either they're going to move him, or they're going to kill him.

I don't know if there are any castles in Podagorsk, but there are a few in Chernarus. They're all worth raiding in order to find our missing captain.

If I had to guess, though, the castle he's at is in Podagorsk. That doesn't look like any Chernorussian castle I've seen.
