« on: March 08, 2015, 08:36:43 PM »
First Name: Taylor
Last Name: McClendon
Age: 42
Desired Duty Assignment: 11B Machine Gunner

ArmA III Player ID: 76561198040419893

How long have you been playing ArmA III?: For about a Month total on and off. I am a noob to Arma but I'm eager to learn.
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: Neg
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: I've been part of online gaming for years and after leaving EVE Online  I throughly miss the feeling of working toward a common goal with guys that understand tactics and working together. After looking on youtube over various groups I love the unit tactics shown in Jester's Videos and want to be part of that.

If you have elected either rotary wing pilot or fighter pilot, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: Yes

Please check your user profile and ensure that the email address you registered with is correct. Have you done this?: Yes

Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 506th realism unit, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: Yes

Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: Yes

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations on Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: Yes

I've unfortunately developed a few computer issues which while they shouldn't be an issue for very much longer have put a damper on the speed at which I have been able to sign up for training. Is there something that I need to do to 'hold my spot' for the next couple of weeks or so?

You have 30 days, from the date of your acceptance, to complete Recruit Training.  If you cannot accomplish that, you'll need to re-apply.  Be aware that recruiting is not guaranteed to be open in that case.
