Best way to say it. CoH are more like a capture the flag (land) and it fun. But not very realistic.
Men of war is very realistic to it can be sometimes... Not fun. You have to manage ammo like crazy. And will have times where someone loses a rifle if they are hit by a mortor so you will need to have him get a new rifle. It makes it fun to have that in the game.... But sometimes extremely tedious. Having 50+ guys you control in the middle of a fight, and have to stop because you have to rearm one guy...
Both are fun in its own way so I would try them both.
