Mod Issues
« on: May 07, 2015, 04:16:42 PM »
Hello, new recruit here. I'm having issues with the mods in game, and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix them.

- Get this error everytime I hit play

" Addon 'rhs_c_weapons' requires addon 'rhs_c_heavyweapons

- The mods rifles and launchers are invisible when I went into Virtual arsenal. (Pistols work)

- Uniforms are invisible, and make my character invisible too

- Got these to error messages in game.

" No entry 'bin/config.bin/CfgWeapons.rhs_m4_compm4"

"No entry 'bin/config.bin/CfgAmmo/rhs_ammo_3bk12_penetrator.model"

" Picture /rhsafrf/addons/rhs_weapons/gear/rhs_weap_gear_ak74m_x_ca.paa not found"

- Even attempting to insert vehicles like the M2A3 crashed Arma III

Thank you for the help.

Are you sure you followed the instructions carefully? Inside the folder for the 506th mod pack there are a few files you must put into the RHS folders which are specific to the unit.

If you're referring to this.

pdate RHS to version 0.3.7 BEFORE doing the following:

-Delete and completely replace your @506th folder

-Overwrite the rhsusf_c_troops.pbo in your @RHSUSF addons folder

-Overwrite the rhsusf_c_a2port_armor.pbo in your @RHSUSF addons folder

-Overwrite the rhsusf_c_rg33.pbo in your @RHSUSF addons folder

-Overwrite the rhsusf_c_a2port_air.pbo in your @RHSUSF addons folder

-Overwrite the rhs_c_weapons in your @RHAFRF addons folder

-Replace your ctab userconfig - Don't forget to change the keys back to custom keys if you had them changed(you can do this in game now)

I honestly not sure what any of that means, especially I don't know what it means by overwrite.

Yup, those are the files I mean. By overwrite, all you gotta do is literally copy and paste the correct files into the correct folder, and when it prompts you if you want to overwrite the files, click yes. Its that simple.

Would you happen to know what the right folder is?

Look at this? The readme should have clear instructions. Also there is a video somewhere around here about how to install the mods.
