Greetings,

This is LCpl Csiga from the 15th MEU (Haymaker 2).

As a bunch of you guys were in the 15th and I know quite a few of you, I thought I would also inform you of what I am doing.

Later this year or possibly early next year I will be launching my business and a online digital media program called The Core Network. This is a program designed for people that have a strong interest in media and would like to create their own web show/series. This program combines the best features of the internet with television and create an environment that encourages and grows success.

This is a professionally structured program and we have rules and guidelines everyone must follow. There won't be random videos that get uploaded, and it will be much easier for users to view the episodes you upload. I am looking for people that would like to create their own shows for my program early, so that you have time to think of what you want to do, film it, edit it, and get it ready to upload. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or contact me via e-mail at scsiga@bladesystemscorp.com. If for any reason you sign up and then feel the need to back out, you are free to do so with no penalty as long as you do so before your show starts airing.

You can read the rules and guidelines here and sign up to be a content provider if you so wish. Your show can be about almost anything. Travel, News, Gaming, Comedy, Animation, Food, and so on. For a little more information you can check out the About Us page.

Once my program is closer to being finished I will hold a meeting with everyone that is interested to explain in much greater detail about the features, functions, and benefits of the program, what is expected, and a Q & A session. If you would like to sit in on the meeting, participate in a beta test, or get updates, please send me an e-mail so I can be sure to send you information about the events as they get scheduled. (scsiga@bladesystemscorp.com)

I'm not sure if this thread is commonly viewed or not, or if you have another thread similar to the 15th's Tun Tavern, but reposting this in a thread where it will be seen by a majority of the members would be greatly appreciated.

Quick Summary:

- The program contains 2 ways to view media. Our Live Feed and On-Demand Feed. The Live Feed is what TV looks like when you turn it on. Channels of shows airing at scheduled days and times. This is the first appearance your episodes will make, where the majority of your money will be earned, and greatly increases the visibility of your show.

- The On-Demand section allows for people that missed the Live Feed airing to watch any of your episodes any time after they air on the Live Feed. So if you missed the Live Feed airing, you can catch that episode again later, but you will have to wait a few days.

-  You have the freedom to choose what day and time your show airs and what the primary target audience location is. You can also choose how long each season will be. 6, 12, 18, 24, or 52 episodes. Flexibility may be given on the number of episodes.

- Anyone can participate from any country. PayPal will be used at first for the primary payment method for you to receive your earned funds. They can be sent in USD or any other currency PayPal supports.

Again, if you have any interest or questions, please feel free to contact me. This is extremely important to me and I will take anything related to it very seriously. I hope you guys will be up to the task and joining me. For those of you that will create your own show, I look forward to seeing your creativity and working with you in the future. Be sure to send me your e-mail addresses if you would like to participate in future tests and information meetings or let me know if you would like to have a one on one meeting.

Thank you for your time, congratulations on your success, and best wishes for your continued growth.

Respectfully,

LCpl Csiga

I'd like to get some feedback from you guys so I can do some business calculations and strategize how to go about some things.

If you guys would be willing to give your feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. Just post here and I will check back every now and then.

1.) What would need to be offered and/or made available to you to choose participating in my program over YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, or another service?

2.) Is being in a structured more professional environment that involves legal contracts and liability intimidating and a possible fear factor?

3.) When you upload and/or stream things, what are your goals/intent? Fun, sharing experience, money, or something else?

4.) Let me know any thoughts or feedback you feel like sharing that could help me better my program for people to use and make it seem like a good investment for everyone.
