[ACCEPTED] PIKE Application
« on: August 10, 2015, 12:27:00 PM »
First Name: Carl
Last Name: PIKE
Age: 20
Desired Duty Assignment: 153A Rotary Wing Pilot

ArmA III Player ID: 76561198068546046

How long have you been playing ArmA III?: Three months.
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: No.
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: I recently began playing Arma 3 and I really enjoy playing it. I have played Arma 2 for DayZ previously. The thing that got me interested in finding a realism unit is the custom missions/scenarios. My friends and I do some COOP missions but I want to take it a step further. I was googling realism units and the first one that popped up was Jester. I watched a lot of videos and all I can say is that I want in. While I am not in the military or planning on it, the game play and immersion the 506th provides is so appealing to me. I would like join as a helicopter pilot. I love flying and having the role of dropping off troops in a hot LZ or holding a pattern in an Apache is badass. I understand this is popular but I am more than willing to put in my time and prove that I deserve the spot. I also would enjoy being on the ground or in a jet. I would essentially do any role as long as it was understood that Rotary is my preference. I am willing to learn multiple positions as well as be flexible for what is best for the unit. From the videos and also the website I can tell that this is taken seriously by the admins and current members. I would love the opportunity to participate in your operations and I can see myself being a member of this community for a long time to come! Additionally, I am a skilled gamer and have become an accurate shot in Arma 3. I am very familiar with radio communications, tactical movements, and how to be professional while still enjoying the simulation experience.

If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: Yes.

Please check your user profile and ensure that the email address you registered with is correct. Have you done this?: Yes.

Do you understand the definition of realism gaming according to the 506th realism unit, and is this the type of realism experience you desire and are willing to abide by?: Yes.

Have you read and understood the requirements for our unit and the criteria for being active and taking a billet in this unit and that failure to complete said criteria will place you into the reserve platoon?: Yes.

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations are dependent on your choice of Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT) or Saturdays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: Yes, I would be applying for Sundays.
