Recruiting is open for pilots. We have two ways of becoming a Pilot.
1. If you are already a member of the unit, you may transfer into the Aviation Section (After spending some time in the Infantry or Medic field)
2. You are coming to us as a qualified pilot who has an interview with either our Helicopter Aviation or Fighter Pilot Detachment Commanders and is approved by them to be processed in directly as a pilot.

Our pilots do not receive 6 months of training before they begin work in operations. They are expected to be basically proficient from the start. If someone joins our unit as an infantryman and then decides he wants to be a pilot, he should focus on learning to fly on his own for a bit (in editor or private training) and then when he has met the rank transfer qualification he can transfer over to aviation. Where he will receive training in our flight school, which is about higher end training - not the basics. If an individual is coming to us as a person already qualified to fly in another unit, they can arrange a personal interview with one of our detachment commanders who will then provide a recommendation of entry for that individual (if they met the standard) and the candidate is directly processed into aviation.

I hope this answers your questions.
