Naturalpoint (The manufactures of TrackIR) are notorious for shady business practices, part of why they have had in the past such a monopoly on the market. Even lower end budget alternative Freetrack/Headtrack was nearly ruined through DMR on TrackIR software and back end deals with developers. 

I've never heard of this product before but I'm all for competition, especially in such a small niche.
