Militia Forming In Eastern Erzikistan
International Times - Dateline 09 April 2016

This was as close as we were allowed to get to the headquarters of "The Erzikistan Republic"

Today, reports that a political movement has picked up pace and a militia has been formed in the mountainous region of eastern Erzikistan.  So far, the only news we have received is that they are calling themselves the Erzikistan Republic and that their leadership believes that it can finally bring an end to the countries problems.

In other news, police restrained more riots today in cities across Erzikistan as more people are protesting horrible the horrible condition the country stands in.  Unfortunately, it is being confirmed that 5 people were killed among these riots.  We will keep you imformed as we continue to follow the breaking situation.

Riots this weekend caused the deaths of 5 people.

There is no point in deploying US Military Personnel in the country cause it is not effecting the US's personal interests. Hopefully the UN will perform peacekeeping operations in the region, and will leave the country in the hands of the Indigenous Population and to not destroy families and demolish the country's infrastructure in the process.

True it may be, US Military and/or Coalition presence and/or intervention has also affected countries domestic stability. An example being after our recent deployment which caused public outcry from the majority. The US is best to stay out of this otherwise there will be dire consequences and let the UN handle it, regardless of if the UN is useless or not.

The US has the economic and logistical backbone to help these countries in need. When we are able to lend our aid whether it be military or economic relief, we have established our presence in the world as a superpower and with that comes the responsibility to lend our aid wherever needed within reason.

Im ready to call in some air strikes. Whose with me?

Firstly let the UN deal with it in the terms of peacekeeping and talks with Iran on the situation and if so we can provide economical support. Yes the US is a superpower but exaggerating it can cause undire consequences and is mostly seen as an abuse of powers in most countries eyes.

This is a scaled and reasonable response to the developing situation that threatens to further empower Iran and Russia. Them two gaining any more power is very much the undire consequences that will result it abuse of power.

We are the U.N. peacekeeping force *in a Emperor Palpatine voice* Honestly, as much as I agree non-intervention should be the rule, not the exception, in such a globalistic world, political capital is the only thing that matters anymore. Russia and Iran want to expand that power to the detriment of NATO, the end game is them being in a state where they can challenge the U.S. and its allies as the world leaders. This is a chess game and we the players have to keep in contention for grand master.

Purely, a pragmatic view, but there it is.

Indeed, deployment of our troops is simply us laying out the cards, the next move is on them. If they fold, we clean up the mess, and life goes on, as usually is the case.

Leave the politics for politicians, if our Commander in Chief says that we will go there, we will be there, once down range the only thing that matters is the man next to you and that should be our priority, do our job and bring all our teammates back alive.
