Burning Erzikistani Supply Depot
The "Erzikistan Republic" launched several attacks last night, raiding and burning military outposts, and even abducting many of the Erzikistani government's leaders. Shortly after the abductions, Erzikistani government officials officially requested assistance from the United States. We are still awaiting a response from the U.S. Strains on the international market has put a lot of tensions in the area, and it may be time for someone to step in and put an end to this situation. This is a surprise, as the militia has recently begun operations, but it shows how quick the movement has gained speed.
So far, we have heard that the officials have been kept in good condition, which says that the militia may not be very radical. However, 30 Erzikistani soldiers were killed in the abductions. It seems that the Erzikistan Republic is using the kidnappings as a way to further their own political agenda. Even so, this unsanctioned attack was unprovoked, and this is now a dire situation for the country of Erzikistan. Keep following International Times as we update you on the current conditions in Erzikistan, as well as the U.S.'s response to the Erzikistani's pleas.
