How long have you been playing ArmA III?: I have been playing arma III for about 2 years on and off. I currently have around 1,150 hours logged on the game to date ranging from different game modes such as: Wasteland, Exile, sector control and the one i have been most active on is Altis life.
Are you currently a member of an ArmA III gaming clan or unit?: I have a clan i play with and have been playing with since i made the switch to pc approx. two years ago. They aren't a specific arma 3 clan but a few of us play.
Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: Looking to learn and experience other techniques from other players. I have been wanting to play tactically for a while but tend to always get away with it. My buddy told me about how he use to play and i think i can learn alot on my callouts playing with a serious group. I really enjoy working together with groups of players and completing task


If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: Yes, i understand.

Do you understand that as of 30SEP2016, you will be required to own Arma 3 Apex DLC in order to actively participate in the unit?: i understand.

You understand the fact that this unit is a EST (GMT -5) time zone based unit, and the attendance requirements of operations are dependent on your choice of Sundays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT) or Saturdays at 2000 EST (0100 GMT)?: Yes i understand

Thank you for your interest in the 506th Infantry Regiment. Unfortunately we are unable to process your application at this time, as 12B Combat Engineer is not a currently available MOS. I will be contacting you via private messaging to discuss this further.

My bad i didn't realise that, I guess i would like to apply for 68W health Care Specialist. I am just curious is this server 1st person only or is 3rd person available as well?

3rd person is available - no restrictions on use beyond vehicle transport.  If you're in a vehicle where you could not realistically see what's going on outside without using 3rd person you are prohibited from calling out contacts or other events happening outside the vehicle.

Mr. Whitford,

Application accepted. Within the next hour you will receive a welcome aboard private message with some general instructions to get you initially set up. Check the PHASE ONE sub-board for the next available scheduled Recruit Training. If you are attending a Recruit Training check each thread for available times and sign up for it in the "Recruit Training" Forum above this one. There will be a thread to sign in.

In Summary:
Step 1. Receive Welcome Aboard message and follow Instructions inside of the Welcome Aboard message.
Step 2. Sign up for a "Recruit Training" in the Recruit Training Forum.
Note: Steps 1 and 2 are interchangeable.
