Editing Software
« on: August 11, 2016, 08:28:00 AM »
Hello again all!

I was trying to edit Sunday's Op footage last night but in my software I had downloaded (Davinci Resolve 12.5) when I would search for the video it wouldn't appear in the folder. I think it may have something to do with the fact that I use Shadowplay to record and it automatically saves the videos as an MP4 file. Any ideas on how to get it to work or any other software (preferably free) that can edit MP4 files? All I'm needing to do is sink up the audio from audacity and the video from Shadowplay and cut boring bits out.

Thanks!

Use OBS Studio for recording, works like a charm.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro and I love it for editing.

Does OBS record voice audio as well as in game audio? If so, does it have a push to talk option so I can use the same push to talk that I do with TeamSpeak? I don't want you guys to here all the "fucks" and "shits" I put out there lol.

It records voice in-game and your mic as well even with PTT.
