TO: ESAF Infantry Regiment Command, Colorado Airbase
FROM: INSCOM Headquarters, Fort Belvoir, Virginia
RE: International Intervention in Napf and the Sea of Japan

The following intelligence report is classified and should only be distributed to authorized personnel.

ESAF Intelligence

At approximately 0840 IGT, 08 JUL 2017, PRNA forces ambushed and captured 8x ESAF personnel assigned to Havoc 3-4. Rescue efforts by ESAF were unsuccessful due to the overwhelming strength of the PRNA attack and while unconfirmed, it is highly probable that one or more of the captured personnel are injured.

Multi-sourced intelligence, collaborated by SIGINT between General Myong Hyonjun’s HQ’s and the Division HQ’s currently engaging ESAF forces, reveal the captured ESAF troops were transported to a detention facility located in LIESTAL (Grid 126096).

ESLA describe the LIESTAL Detention Facility as being equivalent to the US GITMO facility with confirmed cases of torture, harsh interrogations, and the killing of prisoners.  The ESLA commander commented Liestal is an in-processing facility with limited interrogation options; therefore it is probable the prisoners will be moved to a more secure facility deeper into PRNA territory where more in-depth interrogations can be conducted.  He also warned the camp is known to be manned by highly trained PRNA Special Forces.

ANALYST COMMENT

In initial assessments, analysts identified Liestal as being a PRNA strong hold and heavily defended as IMINT suggests it to be a logistics hub and a forward deployed HQ's.  Additionally, analysts compared recent BDA estimates of ESAF successes against the known PRNA TASKORG and conclude insignificant operational degradation noted to PRNA capabilities.

ESAF MTOE equipment has been captured by PRNA including uniforms, combat gear, at least 2x MAAWS, 2x M240B, 4x assault rifles, DAGR's, NVG's, radios, ammo, and typical 506th IR loadouts for the respective personnel.  This requires an immediate increase in all base security operations due to the threat by PRNA SOF or other soldiers posing as ESAF personnel.

ANALYST COMMENT

PRNA TASKORG includes a well-trained Special Forces who can utilize this equipment most effectively to their advantage. Multi-sourced HUMINT reporting, of credible reliability, indicate an unknown sized PRNA SOF element operates out of Liestal conducting full scope kinetic and non-kinetic operations against ESAF.

ANALYST COMMENT

The capture of ESAF radios is a significant breach of security, requiring immediate changes to all communication protocols. With the ability to monitor ESAF communications, PRNA will attempt to disrupt command and control, disrupt operations through false communications, and utilize ESAF coordinates, callsigns, and protocols to deploy/redeploy forces to defeat ESAF operations. All radios are pre-programmed with operational frequencies and it is assumed none of the 8x radios were cleared or zeroed prior to captured and fully compromised.

ANALYST COMMENT

It is imperative that all ESAF forces are rescued while they remain at the Liestal Detention Camp as the chance of rescuing them from another facility deeper in PRNA controlled territory is unlikely.  The information the captured personnel hold is critical to the 506th operational success and if their interrogations reveal this sensitive information then it will be detrimental to all current and future operations.

ANALYST COMMENT

Images captured on 10JUL17 Show ESAF forces are still detained in Liestal and interrogations have begun. PRNA Patrols are frequent around the camp with PRNA Special forces operating the camps security. ESAF Equipment has remained at the camp for now.
