RE: MOSN officially declares war
The following intelligence report is classified and should only be distributed to authorized personnel.
Declaration of warLeader Jong-Soo had kept the television broadcasts available in Napf under very tight control. The only allowable channels were controlled by his government, and the control was centered in Luzern. When MOSN captured the city, they captured the television stations. Since their capture they've been shut off - until this morning. MOSN sent a broadcast officially declaring war on the other factions on the island.
The following is a transcript translated from Korean:
[A man dressed in black wearing a red beret looks at the camera, he is flanked by two MOSN Special Forces soldiers]
"This is an official statement from the Movement of Soviet Nationalists.
The island of Napf belongs to us. It does not belong to the Japanese or the Americans. It belongs to us. We are the people of Napf and this is our country. Instead of allowing us to settle our internal disputes independently, the foreign forces have invaded our lands, killed our countrymen, and destroyed our towns. They believe they can use their military might to subjugate us and force us to bow to their will. Our forces stand ready to continue the fight against them.
They will not succeed. We will drive them from our island. We will stand united against the foreign invaders. Fellow men and women of Napf, stand with us. Join our cause, take up arms, fight the foreign interlopers. This is our country - it is your country. Help us keep it.
Consider this our official declaration of war against international interventionist forces and the so-called liberation army.
[The man steps closer to the camera and points into it]
And to our enemies in the 506th, remember this: We do not forgive. We do not forget. We are forever defiant."
ANALYST COMMENT: Specifically naming the 506th in their address is quite significant. We have no intelligence on the man who spoke the declaration, but it's clear he knows who we are. They've taken losses in the field from the PRNA and ESLA as well, yet did not reference their units individually. Being as this broadcast was clearly sanctioned by the highest ranking members of MOSN then they must have signed off on the threat towards us. It is therefore logical to assume that the leadership of MOSN not only know us, but by the contents of their message have a personal grudge against us. Whether this is due to our performance in the field in this deployment or for some other reason is unclear.
Until we have more information on the situation we cannot expound further on this, but it's something we will watch with great interest and will relay any new details as they come to light.
