Why do you want to join the 506th Infantry Regiment Realism Unit?: For the realism, I do this kind of work on a daily basis in real life and wanted to extend my tactics and training to those who do not have the training and would like to learn.
If you have elected either rotary wing pilot, fighter pilot, combat engineer or medic, if all billets are full by the time you finish the training pipeline, you may have to go infantry for the time being. Do you understand this?: I understand completely. Though frankly I do not know why anyone would pick the greatest MOS in the world 11B, Infantry.
Do you understand that as of 30SEP2016, you will be required to own Arma 3 Apex DLC in order to actively participate in the unit?: I understand and have already purchased and installed the DLC to my computer.
