Teamspeak mic issue

Ok so I'm having issues with teamspeak. Every time I go to talk in the test mode I get this ear deafening high pitched ringing noise??? I've looked on google but can't find anything to help fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to deafen any of y'all lol. I'm using a headset with a built-in mic (Razer Nari) and am using the bluetooth option.

here are some things you can try:

Try a different capture device in TS capture settings.

Try to test your mic in your audio driver control panel and see if the same thing happens.

Check and make sure windows is using the correct audio devices: Go to control panel -> hardware and sound -> manage audio devices and make sure the correct devices are set as default devices under playback and recording.

I've tried multiple capture devices in the TS settings and none of them are any better.

I've also tested it in my control panel and on discord and it works perfectly fine with no problems. It only happens on TS.

I've also went through and made sure that the right devices were set up in windows as default and which ones TS uses as default and still no fix.

I'm at my max knowledge of how to fix this?

Another few ideas to maybe try
-Update sound drivers
-Try using a different microphone to see if it is your headset or something with the computer
-Make sure that your mic isn’t feeding back through your headset
-Reinstall the drivers for your headset completely
What are your computer specs?

@CountryRebel you said you’re using the Bluetooth option- does this mean you have a wired option available? If so, maybe try that.

I haven't updated the drivers yet because everything I read about that said it didn't work but I'll try it as a last resort.
Unfortunately this is the only headset and mic I have that works.
It could be feeding back through my headset it was very sensitive when I first used it on discord and I had to turn some settings down on there, I'll give that another look.
My specs are: CPU/ I9-9900k, GPU/ Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 super, MB/ MSI MEG Z390 ACE, RAM/ 32gig Gskill TridentZ, a 1TB Samsung 860 EVO for storage, a 1TB Samsung 970 EVOplus NVME that has my OS on it, and my OS is Windows 10 pro 64bit.

Yes I do have a wired option and I have tried it. My PC tower has 2 jacks in the front, 1 for speakers and 1 for a mic. For some reason when I try to use the wire and plug it  into the speakers jack only my headset works and I can't talk and if I use the mic jack only my mic works but I can't hear anything. I haven't figured why it does that yet but so far I've only been able to get the bluetooth option to work.
Okay thx I also found that but didn't quite understand where he was talking about to find that. I'll look into that again tomorrow evening when I get off work and see if I can find it and get it working.

Just making a comment as to why the wired option as you are describing it, isn't working is because the two ports on the front and also the back are split because one is an output and the other "mic" is an input.  So you have to get a splitter to plug into the input and output ports so both work.  It is exactly what I have to do on my setup.  You usually can pick them up at an audio store or if you have a decent computer outlet or store they should have them.  And of course you can get them online.   I would believe getting the wired option working will solve the issue you are dealing with, but not necessarily 100%.

Another option for a possible fix, use a program like Voicemeeter. It acts like a virtual input/output, and allows you to direct your physical input outputs to it, while you then direct Teamspeak to use the virtual ones.

If you're using a wireless headset, I would recommend this for Arma as well, because if you lose that Bluetooth connection in any way while connected to Arma, I have found you will lose all sound in Arma even after reconnecting. The only way you're getting your sound back, in that case, is to restart the game. Voicemeeter would act as the primary output for Arma if you're using it as your default sound output device for Windows, and then you would never technically disconnect the game from the Audio output device, even if your headset disconnects.

I meant to post this update a lot earlier but I got busy with work and all, but anyways I got it working! Turns out that link SPC J. Morris sent me was the fix. Took me awhile to find the master volume it was talking about but when I did find it and turned it off the ear piercing ringing stopped. Thanks to all for the information and tips, glad to have willing people to lend a helping hand!
