Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information
- MANPADS and anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) are becoming increasingly common throughout the theater, as more advanced systems become more difficult to supply and utilize by the NWRC. Identification of these threats will rely more than ever on ground forces due to the impacts that these systems have against dedicated ISR platforms, and their mobility makes high-altitude imagery limited to pinpointing general areas of deployment.
- Self-propelled air defense systems remain present throughout the Severkuldzha plateau. Additionally, coalition air operations are advised extreme caution against possible air-to-air engagements initiated by hostile aircraft that may still be launching from both central Mary and Severkuldzha.
Theater/Strategic-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
- Portable electronic warfare jamming suites are in continued use by NWRC regulars, and theater-level J-2 Intelligence continues exploitation operations in order to develop effective countermeasures against the deployment of these systems. If located, collection and photography of these assets are critical in developing such countermeasures. With that, emphasis is again made that if personnel encounter such systems and do not possess the technical means to disable or deactivate EW platforms, the preservation of communications and navigation capability for ground forces must be made a priority, and the terminal may be destroyed by whatever means necessary, and a report detailing these effects- specifically any technical capabilities such as range and frequencies affected, be sent up as part of an FIR.
Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
- The two primary organized militia groups in our area of operations, the 7/7 Martyrs and the Aswad-Murghab Brotherhood, are seeing a massive surge in engagement and cooperation by otherwise noncombatants and civilians as a result of the failing relief efforts. Additionally, several insurgent cells are also popping up throughout the region, with conflicting ideologies and goals to that of those aligned with the NWRC. All groups, major and minor, are leveraging the events that come as a direct result of coalition operations to radicalize the local populace and increase membership. Coalition forces operating in the Kirov region are advised to exercise extreme caution and discretion concerning PID and the use of fires while in areas with a significant civilian population, as collateral damage will continue to drive otherwise noncombatant civilians into the arms of the NWRC and their proxy militia groups.
Special Info/Patrol Objective-specific Intelligence
- This morning's scheme of maneuver is intended to leverage the momentum of 3rd PLT's success in securing and defending critical utilities in the western valley. Repairs to the damaged oil and gas extraction infrastructure are slow, and further impaired by sporadic attacks from the village of Mushan, though it is evident that Mushan is only a rally point for militia forces already mustered further south, spread across the settlements of Kakaran, Mutuni, and Shigai. If the threat of violence against one of the key resources for local income and infrastructure is rendered inoperable as a result of sabotage, it is likely to be detrimental to our already deteriorating relations with those not actively fighting for the NWRC.
