Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) & Aviation Advisory Information
OPFOR's anti-air capabilities remain limited. The British Royal Air Force has advised that they may be conducting fly-bys over the region, thus any fast movers in the AO are to be presumed BLUFOR until identified otherwise.
Theater/Strategic-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Hostile activity within Fallujah has significantly declined after the Fallujah College of Medicine was secured, which was a major supply and recruitment hub for OPFOR. As a result, the majority of 506th assets have been relocated to Ramadi to assist with the systematic clearance of OPFOR presence in and around the city's larger footprint.
Local/Tactical-level News & Intelligence Updates, Activity, and Analysis
Intelligence gathering efforts have indicated an uptick in civilians being forcibly drafted or outright kidnapped to serve in the SoAK, particularly as suicide vest bombers. Troopers are to exercise additional caution when approaching civilian groups in the AO.
A blue-on-green incident during phase 03 resulted in the deaths of two Iraqi Armed Forces personnel. In response, the IAF has withdrawn all offers of support or collaboration with BLUFOR operations. With the IAF maintaining a considerable presence in the region, all troopers are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution when engaging targets during firefights to avoid further deterioration of relations between BLUFOR and INDFOR.
Special Info/Patrol Objective-specific Intelligence
Task Force Alpha will be clearing through the farms and suburban areas South of the Euphrates, on line with Task Force Charlie at the same time. Should there be any contact on the other side of the river, troopers must PID and request permission to engage from his Chain of Command before actually engaging to minimise opportunities for blue-on-blue.
Satellite imagery and human intelligence have confirmed SoAK activity and recruitment efforts mixed in with routine civilian traffic occurring after nightfall across the greater Ramadi region, including today's AO. Troopers are advised to pay additional attention to backstops, over penetration, and usage of hand throwables in and around civilian compounds to avoid civilian casualties as much as possible.
