How did you hear about the 506th?Bit of a weird story but,
There was a member here by the name of K. Conway that streamed under the name of "RealKallisto" that I served with on Battlefield 4 for Xbox under the 11th MEU. I just recently joined a MilSim hub for Xbox and saw a lot of familiar faces so I started retracing my steps and remembered they were here and would stream 506th content. I found a link to the discord and knew about the website years ago.
Why do you want to join the 506th?I've just recently started to get back into MilSim/RealSim and want to make time for it at the end of my duty day. I miss having something to come home to and people to share experiences with on a game and community that I like putting my time forth to. Furthermore, I'm in a bit of a rough patch with coming home and just dragging feet to my bed and sleeping. I need a sense of accountability outside of duty hours and I feel like this would be perfect for me. I also saw that the 506th has had only 1 rebrand and a long unit history on Arma which I liked heavily.
I've tried doing my own research and have been to a couple units within the Arma community and I've found mostly ChillSim units and or units that claim to be something they're not and are a complete gaggle. These units also don't like constructive criticism. I see this unit as something worth my time not to mention being able to peak behind the curtain and seeing how this unit operates when I'd attend streams for it.
