Tophe's Arma Dedicated Server Tool (TADST)

I have a question regarding TADST--is that something that anyone uses?

I have tried over and over again to get this thing to work, but no matter what I've changed, it only lets me launch a server through LAN, which is something I do not need.  I know you need to open ports in order for it to run through the internet master list, but not even that seems to be working.

Take a screenshot of the options you have selected on the first tab of TADST.

What ports did you open?

Make sure you do the following:
Port: 2302
Steam Port: 8766

And you need to forward the following ports on your router:
8766 UDP & TCP

Range
2302 - 2305 UDP & TCP

Make sure those ports are forwarded for the local IP (192.168.1.XXX) for the PC you are hosting on.

I think that Remote Defined needs to be the IP address of the PC you're hosting from.

To find type cmd into your search bar, and then ipconfig.

It should bring up your local IP address.

It should work just like that as long as you have the ports forwarded on the router. The remote defund is if you have multiple ip addresses pointing to the same server but want to host different settings on several different instances. I use this a lot while I was learning the basics of the server confit files. Let me know if you need any further assistance.
