It's a great idea to save your loadouts, especially for different roles if you fill in for other groups, but remember to not save a loadout with a radio or rangefinder type device. If you do you won't be able to access the loadout later on. Save the loadout without those items and pick them up manually after you've loaded your loadout. You won't spawn with your loadout but the arsenal is on a select few boxes in the missions. The other boxes without the arsenal usually hold the radios and extra items that you need to grab manually. Keep in mind that with various updates your loadouts can become "broken" and you might need to redo them from time to time.
