« on: June 17, 2015, 02:33:30 AM »
So when i join anyone of our servers i can slot up, but about half way through me loading in i crash with an error that states the following; "the instruction at at0x01c4ff36 referenced memory at 0x00000120 the memory could not be read".

Any thoughts guys?

If it's a potential memory issue, give this a look-see.
Were you guys getting an exit code that looked something like 0x000000FF / 255 ?

It seems I am having a similar if not the same issue.  I have deleted the MPmissions cache folder and the PhysX3_x86.dll file which seemed to work.  Then my game crashed in the middle of OSUT and I had to do it again.

I seem to only have this problem on 506th servers.

I had the exact same issue, and I tried absolutely everything. However, thanks to CPL Nelson, I finally had a solution - delete all of the contents of the DLL folder inside of your ArmA 3 directory, except for the readme.

The issue seems to be that those dll files are what sets memory restrictions on the game for your computer, but Bohemia fucked something up and it would cause the game to not have enough memory which would result in that crash. Deleting those dll files removes those restrictions.

Additionally, consider setting a memory allocator parameter in your launch properties. Right-click on ARMA 3 in Steam, go to Properties, there should be a "launch parameters" or somesuch button. In the popup, enter "-malloc=system" which should clear up a few potential issues. Keep in mind you will have to completely close ARMA (including the launcher) for this to take effect.

If you're using a third-party launcher you can do this with that as well, but I don't know the procedures as I don't use a third-party launcher

I had this issue aswell on only the 506th servers, after a few attempts it all just started working again. No idea what caused it, no idea why it works now.
