Question about joining

Hello there all just a quick question i currently serve with the 15th MEU realism unit was wondering is it possible for a E marine to transfer to the 506th? or if not how would one handle to join or what would i need to do? thanks for your time!

Joining the 506th would be like joining the 15th MEU, you put in an application, if it gets accepted you start fresh as a RCT and proceed to Recruit Training, then you report to AIT to do your OSUT and other classes if needed, then you report in to your platoon/section. If you are asking if you can keep your rank and join the 506th you cannot.

From my understanding, you'll have to request a discharge in the 15th MEU and once you've been discharged, apply here and say you've just been discharged from the 15th MEU or however you want to word it. From there the S-1 staff will either request proof you've been discharged, ie: showing them a link to your discharge, or they'll check on their own.
