The 506th Infantry Regiment has been running organized milsim operations since November 2014. We simulate Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division — the legendary "Currahee" regiment. With over 150 completed deployments and an active community of thousands, we offer what most units can't: consistency, experience, and a professional environment built over a decade.

Requirements
Age 18+
All members must be 18 years or older.
Microphone Required
Working mic and ability to communicate in English.
Arma Reforger
Own Arma Reforger on Steam with required mods installed.
Availability
Able to attend weekend operations and complete training.

Recruitment Process
Submit Application
Fill out the enlistment form on our forums. Include your Steam profile and availability.
Application Review
Unit leadership reviews your application. Most applications are processed within 48 hours.
OSUT Training
Complete our two-day One Station Unit Training covering combat basics, radio protocol, and team tactics.
Squad Assignment
Get assigned to a platoon and squad. Begin participating in weekly operations immediately.

No. The 506th fully transitioned to Arma Reforger in July 2024. We no longer operate on Arma 3.
Submit a forum application, get reviewed by leadership, complete our two-day OSUT training program, then get assigned to a squad. The entire process typically takes 1-2 weeks.

Large-scale operations run Saturdays and Sundays at 2000 EST. Squads also conduct mid-week training and smaller events at various times throughout the week.
No prior experience required. Our OSUT training covers everything you need — from basic infantry tactics to radio communications. Many of our members joined with zero milsim background.
All recruits start as infantry. After demonstrating proficiency and commitment, you can apply for specialized roles including medic, mortars, aviation, JTAC, or Special Forces.
No. The 506th conducts PvE operations exclusively. Individual members may privately participate in PvP events, but the unit does not organize or participate in PvP as a whole.
