I would recommend talking to the OSUT chief about getting yourself an extension, extra days to complete OSUT.

I worked with a 24 year old girl who got her hand caught in a machine, she lost 3 of her fingers completely and her hand was what doctors would call "de-gloved." Saftey first my man. Loosing fingers really sucks
