4th of July Special Event: 506th Public Conflict Server

Date: 4 July 2024
Times: 1400, 1800, 2200 - ALL TIMES ARE IN EST

Scenario:

Situation:
A mercenary group from [REDACTED] has been tasked with securing a foothold on Everon. En route, their vessel sustained multiple hits and eventually sank, leaving the team gearless and stranded 300 meters off the coast. All supplies were lost with the boat, including personal primary weapons, intelligence (maps), and higher tech gear such as range finders, rocket launchers, GPS watches, radios, NVGs, and other items that typically provide NATO forces with a significant advantage.

Mission:
The team must reach the shore and proceed to the nearest friendly base. If killed or captured, no rescue efforts will be initiated. US Forces operating on the island are unaware of your presence. Any encounters will require significant negotiation to avoid hostile engagement.

Execution:
1. Movement to Shore: Swim to the shore undetected.
2. Combat Operations: Engage and neutralize any hostile forces encountered.
3. Evasion and Survival:
   - The only friendly locations on the island are US Forces bases and facilities.
   - Contact with US Forces must be made without utilizing radios to gain access to these facilities.
4. Link-Up: Navigate to the closest friendly base without external support.

Service Support:
- No resupply or extraction will be available.
- Utilize any equipment salvaged from hostile forces or found in the environment.

Command and Signal:
- Maintain radio silence unless absolutely necessary.
- Use visual signals for team communication to avoid detection.

Participant Kit Configuration:
- Headgear: Anything that is not a helmet
- Uniform: Civilian attire only (no military attire)
- Throwables: None
- Primary Weapon: None
- Secondary Weapon: None
- Handgun: Any setup
- Belt: Any preferred belt
- Medical Supplies: 1x Bandage, 1x Morphine, 1x Saline
- Backpack: Any type
- Navigation: Standard binoculars, standard compass
- Restrictions:
  - Map: No maps; do not pick up enemy maps as they lack US location markings
  - Radio: No radios; do not pick up enemy radios as US Forces frequencies are unknown

Participants are expected to demonstrate tactical proficiency and adaptability under these challenging conditions.

No sign-ups necessary, just show up ~30 minutes before start time and let me know you are there for the event.
