    I don't have experience with ultrawide monitors, but I would go for the higher refresh, personally.  I usually go overkill on all things PC related -- it's a personal problem of mine.

    This game doesn't get above 30 fps in 4k....period.  Especially during full task force operations.    I have a 7700k OCd to 5.2 ghz (lucky silicon lottery) with a 1080ti.....and I run at 1440p with 200% sampling at 60fps.  For some reason, no matter what the settings, this game doesn't get...

    First build seeking feedback

    I had very very very bad luck with the "Thermal Interface Material" on the 7700k -- I went through 3 different CPUs until I found one that had stable temps suitable for overclocking.  My idle temps w/ no OC was 60-70C, and with the automatic boost clock on the 7700k to 4.8ghz it would overheat...
