How do you know you didn't have any problems with the mods? Which server did you get on to test? Did you download the ACE provided to you in your Recruitment Acceptance correspondence? No other ACE will work for official 506th activities. Which message did you receive once you were kicked?

It shouldn't be too big. Try using Google Chrome, it's better anyway :) You could also use something like JDownloader for the bigger downloads. Manages them a little better if you don't have the best internet.
